AtScale introduced the first cloud-ready semantic layer in 2013. Founded by veterans of the Yahoo data team, AtScale was built to solve the problems that emerge when enterprises scale: metric drift, inconsistent pipelines, runaway compute costs, and BI tools that can’t keep up with cloud data. That same problem now sits at the center of the AI era. LLMs and agents can’t be trusted without governed, contextual definitions. BI teams can’t maintain consistency without a shared semantic foundation. AtScale provides that foundation.
