Okta acquires cloud identity startup Auth0 for $6.5B– March 3rd

This week, Okta, the leading independent provider of identity for the enterprise, announced that they acquired Auth0 for $6.5B. Okta CEO and Co-Founder, Tom McKinnon states that this “gives his company broad coverage in the identity space and the acquisition has the power to lift identity to a first-class cloud category along with infrastructure, enterprise software like collaboration and CRM and others.”

Google addresses customer data protection, security in Workspace– March 2nd

In response to a data protection assessment, Google announced how their enterprise suite, Workspace, handles data by addressing security and privacy concerns expressed by Dutch data protection authorities. The Google states, “We adhere to regulatory and compliance requirements to protect our customers’ data. And we believe that it is deeply important for us to be transparent about our products and our practices.”

Microsoft Ignite: How Azure Percept will bring AI to the edge for the enterprise– March 2nd

On the first day Microsoft Ignite, the company shared Azure Percept, “a platform of hardware and services intended to simplify how customers use Azure artificial intelligence technologies on the edge, such as with cloud offerings for device management, AI model development and analytics.”
